To this end, Cosmical has already entered into agreements with companies in this field and is actively pursuing the formation of new alliances and the creation of new and exciting end-user software products and services.

Since 2009 Cosmical Technology has developed and/or published the following branded/co-branded applications for smartphones; the following list does not include projects branded by our customers:

AthensBook

In February 2009, Cosmical Technology completed the first phase of development and released version 1.0 of AthensBook, an iPhone application providing up-to-date, geographic and time aware information Points of Interest (POIs) and the surroudings of its users. AthensBook and its server infrastructure were developed by Cosmical Technology for its partner, Susukomaka LLC. The reception of AthensBook was phenomenal, with the application currently having more than 105,000 users and having been consistently rated among the top iPhone applications targeting the Hellenic market. In early 2011 Apple included AthensBook as the seventh all-time most popular app in the Hellenic AppStore (2nd most popular app by a hellenic software house) and a few months later it won the 2010 App of the Year TechExcellence Award, by readers and columnists of PCMagazine and T3 magazines.

The application was the first making use of Cosmical's Geo|Ads advertising platform. AthensBook for Android was released on the Android Market in July 2011.

IntervalTime

IntervalTime is the product of one of our short development experiments that periodically take place at Cosmical. The application was designed, implemented and made available to the Android Market in less than 48hours in early August 2011. It consists of a very simple timer for HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), an exercising/fitness protocol that aims to help experienced athletes and newcomers alike and that has become popular since the mid 1990s. The purpose of this experiment was to establish the sophistication of the Android frameworks in creating custom UI elements for incorporation in larger libraries used by Cosmical in its larger projects. IntervalTime is available on the Android Market for devices running Android 2.1+.
